Magic Was in The Air -
It's a magical experience when you win at a Las Vegas Hotel and casino
Some Visits You Just Don't ForgetBy Rick and Teri Golpe, Sterling Heights, MI
Back in 1984 we made our second visit to the true "City of Lights." Joining us were two Vegas newbies. The four of us talked on the plane about our plans for the next four days. Most of the conversation centered on floorshows and lounge acts with a very rare mention of gambling thrown in.
Little did we know that gambling would turn out to be a huge part of the trip. Why? Because all four of us had the "touch" that trip. Blackjack, craps and roulette were our games of choice, and we beat the house at all of them.
We didn't make get-rich money; we made pay-for-your-whole-trip money and then some. Easy money. $50 here. $200 there, and so on. We paid cash for the shows, cabs, meals and souvenirs.
Wow! That was 20 years ago and all of us still remember it like it was yesterday.
